Do you want an easy meal to prepare? Meatloaf is an excellent option to make in advance. I like to thaw Ranch Direct Ground Beef, combine it with other ingredients, and place it in the fridge for the night so it is ready to be popped in the oven the next day.  It only takes 45 minutes to bake. Another option is to bake it in your slow cooker so it is ready to eat when you get home.

Meatloaf Ingredients

1 egg

3/4 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup quick-cooking oats

1/2 cup onion (diced)

1 tsp. salt

1 lb. of Ranch Direct Ground Beef.

Topping Ingredients

2/3 cup crushed canned tomatoes

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp. of mustard

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and milk, add the shredded cheese, oats, diced onion, salt, and mix. Add the Ranch Direct Ground Beef and mix thoroughly. 
  3. Grease a 9 x 9 or loaf pan or your slow cooker pot. Place your meatloaf mixture into the pan and lightly pack to shape it.
  4. In a second mixing bowl, add the topping ingredients and mix thoroughly.  Pour the topping over the meatloaf and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until done.  If you are using the slow cooker, set it on low for 8 hours.
